Triethylamine is a chemical that functions as an intermediate in the production of pesticides, textile treatment agents, dyestuffs, and quaternary ammonium compounds, as a catalyst for epoxy resins and polyurethane systems, as a stabilizer for amino resins in coating systems, as an accelerator activator for rubbers, as a wetting, waterproofing, and penetrating agent of quaternary ammonium compounds, as a corrosion inhibitor, as a curing and hardening agent for polymers, and as a propellant.
