In the present research investigation, a multisensor system was developed and installed for the study of the monitoring of milling processes. Experiments were conducted to investigate the influence of tool wear conditions on the generation of acoustic emission (AE), torque and force signals. The measurement data was analyzed in the frequency domain. The effects of flank wear on the AE RMS, torque and force, power consumption and specific cutting energy data were studied and compared. From the comparison, it is found that the sensitivity of the parameters of the AE RMS, torque, power and specific cutting energy to the flank wear is higher than that of the force signals. Among the parameters investigated, the frequency peak of the AE RMS signal has the highest sensitivity to the tool wear. The frequency of AE RMS in the sensor system gives promising results for the monitoring of milling pr
