THIS PAPER ADDRESSES THE COMPUTATIONAL INEFFICIENCY OF A NEW EFFECTIVE LEAD ANGLE PREDICTION METHOD AND ITS NUMERICAL-INTEGRATION IMPLEMENTATION. THE SECOND APPROXIMATION REPRESENTS THE NONLINEAR UNCUT THICKNESS TERMS AS AN EVEN, FOURTH-ORDER POLYNOMIAL. THE RESULTING INTEGRAND CAN BE EVALUATED ANALYTICALLY.
