As the 21st Century approaches, the Internet and the World Wide Web are being used to deliver more and more information. Many corporations and organizations are looking to use it as a delivery mechanism for their technical data. However, by its very nature, technical data is complex and can be difficult to understand. This paper presents some basic concepts for how to present technical data in such a way that it can be used instinctively. The World Wide Web is a sight based medium and potentially an ideal tool for the delivery of complex information through the universal language of graphics.
