IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE ACCURACY OF THIS APPROACH IN MODELING THE COMPLICATED FLOW CONDITIONS IN DIE CASTINGS, A COMPARISON WITH EXPERIMENTAL FILLING PATTERNS OBTAINED FROM WATER ANALOGY RESULTS WAS CONDUCTED AND SELECTED RESULTS ARE PRESENTED.
