This study evaluatedmethods and procedures for accomplishing in-situ injection of surrogate tracers. Theprimary objective of this study was to identify, select, and test environmentallyacceptable tracers to measure travel times of reclaimed water and its constituents inrecharge systems. The project included the following major activities: compare and select tracers forrecharge systems augmented with reclaimed water; evaluate performance of tracersin three common recharge systems (recharge basin, vadose zone recharge well, anddirect recharge well); and, develop protocol for conducting tracer test at rechargesystems. Includes tables, figures.
