This powerpoint presentation evaluates the economic impacts ofenhanced coagulation and pHdepression on granular activated carbon (GAC) service life. Central Arizona Project (CAP) water quality assessment andoperational assessment are presented, along with thecoagulation and GAC adsorption model andbench-scale experiments for model validation,validated model applications and sensitivityanalysis involvingTOC and pH, andcoagulant dose.
