This slide presentation outlines a study to investigate strategies for Stage 2 complianceat the largest filter plant (80 MGD) of the Birmingham Water Works. The project goal was todetermine the feasibility of utilizing granular activated carbon (GAC) filteradsorbers to achieve Stage 2 compliance bymeans of a pilot-scale study.
