Experiments were conducted to study a variety of factors that might affect the formationof disinfection byproducts during chlorination and chloramination. These factorsincluded reaction time, pH, dose and temperature. The effect of pH on the formation ofbrominated and iodinated disinfection byproducts was also studied. Additionalexperiments were conducted to examine the effect of corrosion control chemicals on thestability of disinfection byproducts. Includes 10 references, table, figures.
