Many methods have been published for the recovery ofAeromonas bacteria from environmental waters. A method using ampicillin dextrin agar (ADA) was shown to be one of the best media for Aeromonas recovery. This paper presents the results of further evaluation of ADA as the recovery medium to be used in national occurrence studies. Includes 10 references, tables.
