This slide presentation outlines a study on Pb release from end-use plumbing components in Seattle Public Schools. The objectives of this study were: to determine Pb release levels from end-useplumbing components and fittings in SeattlePublic Schools. The approach included: field sampling - "sequential" sampling indicatedthat new end-use plumbing contributed elevatedPb levels; and, laboratory testing - conducted to asses therelative contribution of individual components. Results of both tests are provided and Discussion Topics include: Estimated Range of PbContributions from End-Use PlumbingComponents; and, "Pre-Conditioning" of NewBubbler Heads. Conclusions and recommendations are given. Includes 3 references, tables, figures.
