The City of Albuquerque has begun an innovative program to implement varioussources of reuse water to supplement its drinking water supplies. Three reuseprojects are underway. The first project uses industrial reuse water from threesemiconductor industries. The second reuse project will use reclaimed wastewaterfrom the City's Southside Water Reclamation Facility. To supplement theindustrial recycling project, a non-potable surface water project will beimplemented. All three of these projects will help the City optimize the use ofreclaimed and non-potable water for appropriate uses and preserve the deepaquifer groundwater. This paper briefly describes each of these reuse projects.
