This paper discusses a study to determine the distribution of kinetic inactivation constants and disinfectant CT requirements for Cryptosporidium parvum seeded into natural waters collected from the USA, Canada, and the Netherlands. Several different disinfectants and disinfectant combinations were evaluated. Fourteen different source waters, one filter backwash water, and one phosphate buffered laboratory-grade water were studied. All sixteen waters were evaluated with ozone, seven of the waters with sequential application of chlorine and chloramines, seven with sequential application of ozone and chlorine or chloramines, and one with sequential application of ozone and chlorine dioxide.
