This paper discusses the design and implementation of the Laboratory InformationManagement System Plus (LIMS Plus) that was developed for, and in conjunction with,the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority. The LIMS Plus was designed specificallyfor the in-house laboratories of wastewater treatment plants. The system storesdata in a centralized database thus avoiding data entry errors.
