With a grant from the National Science Foundation, Roy F. Weston, Inc. has developed a water management (WATMAN) model. The WATMAN model provides the user with a tool to analyze various integrated water supply system alternatives, including reclaimed water distribution, depending on the composition of sources and demands. Water reuse would be an essential consideration in the future in developing any long-term water management plan for a community or a region. The WATMAN model is particularly useful for analyzing water reuse management plans.
