AWWA ACE90114

The Virginia Section of the American Water Works Association has a diverse educational program that serves two major goals. The primary goal is providing a continuing educational program for the water works industry, including more than 1200 members. The second is sponsoring a Youth Education Program to stress the importance of mathematics and science in daily life. This paper will describe the organization of the Virginia Section Educational Program and describe how these goals are being pursued and achieved.
