This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of 10 workforce topics that include: retention; recruiting and selection; internships and co-ops; apprenticeships; employee development; working with educators; working with workforce investment boards; partnering with unions; operator certifications; and, technology to support workforce initiatives. Collaboration possibilities were identified based ongeographic definitions, and national ideas were developed around sevenareas including:Going Forward;Brand and Image; Workforce Developmentand Education; Workforce Planning andMetrics; Outreach to PotentialWorkforce;Collaboration Leadership; and,Alternatives to IncreasingUtility Workforce.
