This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the Regional Municipality of Peel in Ontario, Canada. WaterSmartPeel (WSP) is presented as a water efficient program (WEP) that was developed to address growingpopulation and increasing demands on thewater system in the Region of Peel. WEP goals include reducing AADD and Peak DayDemand by up to 10% by 2015.WSP intends to reach these goals throughwater efficiency and education programs. Both residential and Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) WEPs were started in 2005, and specific programs highlighted include the following: a Residential Toilet Replacement Program; a Water Efficiency Retrofit Project; ICI Toilet Replacement Program; ICI Water Audits; and, Pre-Rinse Spray ValveReplacement. Education and outreach is presented, along with promotion and marketing.
