This powerpoint presentation presents a database that will provide utilities and allinterested parties a resource for efficientlyaddressing their need for information thatcould help them improve the energyefficiency, reliability and costs of their waterand wastewater facilities. Developing the database, website development, andtentative findings from the database are presented. Presentation conclusions indicate that: the majority of the research work in desalination isfocusing on membranes;it is very difficult to identify the correct time line foralerting the industry on research issues; and,additional work is needed on populating thedatabase to be a truly "international" search.
