The impact of initial concentration, natural organic matter and powdered activated carbon (PAC) dose and type on the adsorption of 2-methylisoborneol (MIB) was evaluated on four water sources. Three models were developed and successfully applied to two other water sources. The models ranged from observed relationships between DOC removal and MIB removal to the application of the ideal adsorbed solution theory. Includes references, figures.
