  • Standard for Determination of Quaternary Ammonium Compounds in Wood by Potentiometric Back-Titration Using Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Hyamine 1622
  • standard by American Wood Protection Association, 2014
  • Publisher: AWPA

$10.00$20.00

This method is an analogue to AWPA Method A18,however, use of chloroform as a titration reagent has beeneliminated and visual determination of a color endpoint hasbeen replaced with a potentiometric endpoint using anautomatic titrator. This method can be used to determineconcentrations of quaternary ammonium compounds (quats)in wood. It is intended for routine quality control in woodtreating and is not suitable for trace levels of quats in wood.
