1.1 This test method covers the determination of total nonaromatic hydrocarbons and monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, p-xylene, o-xylene, styrene and mixed xylenes by gas chromatography. The purity of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, p-xylene, o-xylene, styrene and mixed xylenes is also calculated.
